Ashton and Chris were married September 4, 2015 at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA. This venue provided a beautifully landscaped background for the cocktail hour + ceremony. The grounds of the Hellenic center were filled with lush green hedges and large, old maple trees but the most eye catching blossoms at the wedding were those provided and creatively arranged by Karla Cassidy of Karla Cassidy designs.

“For Ashton’s wedding we tried to create an understated vintage feel, using a muted palette of creamy whites, blushes and soft gold accents.” -Karla Cassidy

“It was important to Ashton to use seasonal flowers, with texture, we used a variety of roses – garden roses, tea roses, sweetheart roses, and spray roses as well as masses of baby’s breath for a vintage wow factor. We incorporated soft gold accents in some of the hardware, as well as in mercury glass votives. Also, adding trailing ribbons to all of the bouquets and the ceremony lanterns to bring in the color palette again and add to the romance of the overall design.” -Karla Cassidy
“The space was filled with vintage, personal touches. To compliment those touches we created small cluster style arrangements to incorporate throughout the space. A vignette of personal items, signage, flowers, and candles is an easy way to create a vintage feel and really fill the space.” – Karla Cassidy
