Kati and Matt were married and celebrated July 18, 2015 at the Charles River Museum of Industry + Innovation in Waltham, MA. Why throw a cookie-cutter, country club wedding when there are such creative spaces to use in New England? The loft-like museum provided ample amount of space, for a guest list of approximately 150 in attendance, and natural charm with industrial features like high ceilings and exposed brick. Romantic toned florals and linens of flint, couture, blush and pewter were used to offset the industrial nature of the venue. To add some fun and compliment the factory feel, escort cards were expertly made to resemble real life time-cards and were even stacked in an original card rack that already existed in the museum venue!! What’s more, guests skipped right passed the dreaded and rehearsed cocktail hour spiel with conversation topics more interestingly being about the historic items in the museum’s gallery. The reception space was no different, containing visually exciting elements in just about every direction while still not distracting from the total fun of the couple’s celebration!
